Our team were engaged as the head contractor to complete the refurbishment and expansion of Lara Feedmill. We delivered additional scope in parallel to this project outcome.
The project resulted in multiple large warehouse facilities; silos with a combined 3,300m3 capacity, and the installation of a30meter pelleting tower.
Expanding our works, we took on the additional responsibility of managing the specialist milling, weigh bridge, boiler and silo contractors from Denmark, whilst constructing the silo foundations, 2 weigh bridges, 30m silo tower, a new warehouse, and up to 6500m2 of HD concrete pavement works and pit construction.
This complex facility had to be carried out around the operational requirements of the existing facilities, ensuring there were no clashes in terms of structure, penetrations, clearances and furthermore.
