Our construction team was appointed to provide a turn key head contractor service for the complete redevelopment of the SVHA Kew site. The redevelopment project involved 4 stages, including:
As head contractor were responsible for development of a master programme to resolve the sequencing of works necessary to facilitate delivery. We ensured that there was no reduction of service delivery for SVHA Kew or compromise to patient care. These complex projects and accelerated time frames could only be achieved by the development and maintenance of close relationships with both the client and trade contractors. The outcome of the project meant operations taking place at Kew increased over 100% weekly.
The main project included an extension of the existing building to house a new rehabilitation ward, with works within the building for urodynamic suites, day oncology, pathology, sleeps studies, paediatrics and infrastructure upgrades.
